I've noted this with a lot of Vulcans, it's a "I have better thing to do, why am I here" look on their faces.

I generally am a big fan of Vulcans too. Spock is one of the greatest fictional characters of any medium, who can project all kinds of depth with a glance and still be in complete Vulcan control. Selar only got one on screen appearance and she's very memorable and interesting.
Tuvok just didn't ever click for me.
^ Yes, even a TOS opponent like me must concede that Spock was a more complex character than Tuvok. I think the difference was that Spock was a character first and a Vulcan second, while Tuvok was the writers of Voyager trying to adapt the "Vulcan template" to a new character as best as they could.
Don't get me started about "Kahn," which I see way too often, sometimes even in "professional" articles and reviews.
It's Khan, people, not "Kahn." It's right there in the title of the movie.

Yes, but the Star Trek villain is Khan, and, honestly, which spelling better fits a legendary world conqueror? Khan as in Genghis Khan, or "Kahn" as in Sammy Cahn.

Even some of the German fans, who are currently waiting for Khaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan (Vol. 1 + 2) misspell it often. Several weeks ago I complaint about it in the Cross Cult Forum, saying "Khan" is not "Kahn". By the way, Germans are soccer fans and there is a former goal-keeper with the name Oliver "Kahn" (he sometimes was at least as ferocious as Khan). As for my part, there is no chance for mistaken identiy

The german word for "madness" is "Wahnsinn". I have long since made "Khansinn" out of it. Or "Kahnsinn"????? Whatever
True, but we're not talking the occasional typo here. "Kahn" is ubiquitous enough that it's fairly obvious that a sizable number of people think that it's actually spelled that way.
Which is kind of odd. I mean, you don't see people routinely posting about "Kurk" or "Spokk," but, trust me, "Kahn" is everywhere.
It's almost as common as "cannon" instead of "canon."
Back in the day, one of the most frequent errors was that there was a character named Dr. Spock, who of course instead was in fact a real person.
Oh, yeah. And it's less common now that Doctor Benjamin Spock is less of a household name, but it still persists. PBS made that same mistake on its website only a few years ago, while promoting a documentary on the history of science fiction TV.
I confess I still have to look up the correct spelling of B'Elanna and Lwaxana.
And is it Marla McIvers or Marla McGivers? I still have to look that up and I wrote a whole book about her!
