Continuum the new tv series!

OK....now i'm realizing you guys are way ahead....where are you compared to the current SYFY airing in the US (i am caught here in the US)?

ALso, i do want to point out that the title of the show is CONTINUUM...which may imply that the time cycle might happen a few times so that any changes from the future get reset with some unintended (or possibly planned) changes from others. We don't know if Kellogg became a billionaire in the future already, or if he is successful now, THAT future causes Alec to send Keira back again (or someone else to help "create" Keira)...or heck, introduce a multiple universe theory so that each timestream is "supposed" to happen...

Season 2, Episode 10 is the most recent one. Next episode is aired July 21st (or July 22nd if you are in the future like me).

Brief descriptions of eps do contain spoilers on that page.

As to it being a continuum and all the other theories I have no expectation of ever finding out. So far it's avoided the whole conspiracy upon conspiracy spiral but it may well end up that way. I would love it if it had a satisfactory conclusion, especially if we think we are getting the real info and in the final episode we are proved wrong and it ends with a debatable mystery. But really I'm happy as long as it doesn't end up chasing it's own tails like Lost which shitted me to tears.

Is no one else watching this?!

Anyway.. I've only just twigged with this latest ep (11) that the rogue freelancers may have more control than old Alec, Theseus and any other factions. They like to act like they are observers, mercenaries.. not really invested. But they may be the most invested of all.

Also STILL no Jason.

I saw "Jason" tonight on Andy McDowell's new show for Life Time Cedar Cove which was saccharinely insipid.

I think the Freelancers have been at work longer and have more control over their environment, but what they don't have is a way "home". Why am I thinking that they are all prisoners and that the past is like a sort of penal colony?

They talked about Jason this week.

He was the timecrazy person she had met obviously. :)

Temporal Aphasia... That sounds familiar?

No, I think that there's tech in his head set to a timer, this is part of a long term plan.

I figured out the last seconds of the final episode two weeks ago.

Alec goes to the future.

His older self is waiting for him when he arrives.

Young Alec: "Hey Asshole, you and me are going to have a conversation."

Dammit, I keep coming into this thread to talk about the show and forget that you guys are ahead of the U.S. airings.

I gave in, downloaded and watched up to episode 11, I believe 12 comes out this week on Showcase

SHOWDOWN AT JASON'S PLACE!

That was a good penultimate episode. Sorry to see you know who go, very much enjoying the actor.

Was unfortunately eating when body was discovered in boot.

Hoping and suspecting there will be a big shift for season 3. Something significant will change everything.

His scruffinesss :adore:

I'm enjoying this show a lot more than I probably should. But there is one thing that consistently bothers me: The guy named his company SadTech. That is just such an embarrasingly horrible name for a company. You'd think a PR guy would have slapped him upside the head early on or something...

Cool! Canada is doing pretty good in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy department with this and Lost Girl.

Was that an actual Canadian show? I thought that was just another American cable drama.
