Riker: Taris, if you have phaser capability, prepare to use them now.

TARIS [on viewscreen]: What?

 

[Leandar]

Riker: Destroy that probe! (Taris turns, the transmission cuts off - then on the viewer, the probe approaches the Romulan ship, which destroys the probe with their phasers. On the Enterprise, Troi approaches Riker and he turns to her) And not even a "thank you."

 

[LeadHead]

Taris: SubCommander Taris is deeply frustrated, probably because her ship is as crippled as the Enterprise.

 

[Leandar]

Wesley: Why would the Romulans be experiencing problems? They weren't probed.

 

[LeadHead]

Riker: They must have tapped into the Yamato log. Taris got more than she bargained for. Maintain Red Alert and try to keep those shields up in case Taris decides to make good on her threat.

 

[Leandar]

Wesley: Commander? What about the away team? With the shields up, we can't beam them back.

Picard {OC}: Captain's log, supplemental. While there is little left on the surface of Iconia, we have found what appears to be a control center which seems to have remained intact.

Picard: Keep trying them. Communications are bound to be erratic.

 

[Alienesse]

WORF: I would not like to become a permanent resident of this planet.

 

[LeadHead]

DATA: Scanners show no other life forms on the planet, sir.
