Not only breasts but a two part bridge module on the underside of the saucer. That's different. The bass is under the phaser emiters (isn't that what that is?) and the dome is a nipple!

Roddenberry must have had a hand in this kitbash.

biotech - Great job so far. Any chance of seeing that last picture (POV - ventral, starboard side, bow) with more lighting than the running lights? I know this is a WIP and you were probably running a test, but it is looking so good now that I hate to be teased with that shot.

    Again, fine job!!

That top shuttle bay picture looks so sweet. biotech, not only are you an excellent modeler, you have a great sense of drama and style.

    :bolian:

I called it a shuttle bay but on a ship of this era, is it the hanger deck?

    It could be called either.

Sweet! For some strange reason, I love seeing shuttlebay pics!

Thank you sir! She is really coming along nicely.

Given that you are also modeling the interior of the shuttle dock/landing bay, does this mean we can expect to see movies as well as still renders?

Keep up the good work!

Mhmm... the hangar itself looks good, but I think your proportions are way off (at least in relation to the portholes and the bridgedome).

No movies, the stills take long enough to render!

I've numbered and lit the rest of the doors, the rest of my time today was spent redoing the windows, as I noticed in some of my better lit renders a lot of errors, and it would have taken forever to fix them all, so redid them.

Did a little image for fun, a low orbit.

Yeah, the bridge has been bothering me too -- it looks too tall and bulbous. The bridge should be exactly like that of the refit E, so perhaps those blueprints and photos should be consulted.

    No it shouldn't.

I don't mean to sound rude, but don't you think I did check photos and blueprints before starting this?

The bridge is not in any way like the one on the enterprise.

As for the hanger an average man would come about one third way up that side door.

Not to be rude either, but the bridge just looks a little off, especially the outer ring, which is not wide enough and is missing the slats (like the refit E has).

It isn't off by much, but it doesn't match the model yet:
