I love it!
Its a lot more industrial than we've seen in the past.
Friend of mine at uni did her diss on "black" hair (as opposed to "black hair"), really surprised me how much there was on the subject...
Apparently it's crewed entirely by science officers.
I like the architecture of the bridge, but does it really need to be so dark? Hopefully it's just that particular shot and in the show it's brighter.
I'm honestly a little disappointed. This is a well-known issue. :/ Just give us her awesome regular hair!
But oh well, the rest looks fantastic.

Nice bridge. Interesting uniforms, although I'm going to miss the bright colours! Also, it's a reboot.
Burnham has golden stripes on the side, the others seem to be silver. Are this some kind of department colors?

Gold looks gold jewlery. I see dark red on guy at console in bridge shot so probably stripes on unis

It's kinda movie Trek circa the late 90s.
But it's pretty cool for TV.
I think I very much prefer the clean, slick futuristic look of the glass-heavy and bright Kelvinverse starship bridges.
This does look like fucking submarines in space again, so unnecessarily dark. But it could be much worse. Again... it's the plot and characters that matter more.
