Console Gamers Roll Call

Currently own a 360 and PS3. The PS3 tends to get used mostly for watching Blu-Ray aside from the occasional exclusive that interests me. Lately, that's been Infamous. I used to be more of a PC gamer up until a couple of years ago, but tend to buy most games for the 360 anymore.

Favorites of this generation include Fallout 3, Mass Effect, Bioshock and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (well, up until the twist :p).

Currently own: Xbox 360, Wii, DS.
I am thinking about getting a PS3 at some point, perhaps after a price drop.

Previously owned: Xbox, Gamecube, Dreamcast, Snes, Nes, Master System, Game Gear, GBA, Amiga, Spectrum +2, Amstrad something or other Commodore 64, Commodore 16 or perhaps vic 20 maybe both.
Gamertag same as here.

I don't really have favourites, but lately I've really been enjoying Fallout 3 and Red Faction: Guerilla

360, Wii, PS3, DS, and a bunch of old systems sitting in boxes in my garage.

I really kind of suck at games, and I think most of that is because I don't care enough or have the desire or time to invest in a game unless it is totally awesome. And I like familiarity: classic franchises I grew up with, sports games, Star Wars... those are more my thing.

I'm mostly old school

I have:

SNES
N64
Genesis
Gameboy
Wii

The Wii is very recent (actually, my brother's) and I got the Genesis recently too. I'm looking for an original NES if I can find one cheap with some games. I'd get new systems too, but I'm poor (and the old ones are still very good).

Previous machines that I still have (not that it's particularly interesting, but I feel like making a list!)

Amstrad CPC 464
Megadrive 2 + MegaCD
Amiga 1200
Playstation
Dreamcast
Gamecube (obv. rendered utterly useless by the Wii)

And my current PC is a now old and shitty Athlon '64 3500+, 2gb ram and an 8600gt. Pretty much converted from a PC guy to a full time 360 gamer 'cos I got sick of spending £200+ every year just to keep up with endless incremental upgrades.

NES (somewhere)
SNES
N64
Wii
Game Boy (original)
Game Boy pocket (2)
Game Boy Advance

I've been pretty much a Nintendo guy for, well forever. I like all of the Zelda's, Mario Karts. Even have a couple of Trek games for the SNES yet. I used to have a Genesis, which I sold at a garage sale, damnit. :(

The only one I have is the Gamecube. The rest I traded or sold to get the newer one. Sometimes wish I hadn't, but with books, dvds, games and gadgets, my house is cluttered enough without my old shit too.

I used to be a pretty exclusively PC gamer, but keeping the damn thing current got to be too much of a hassle.

I've got a 360, a Wii and a DS. 360 probably sees the most use.

I sold most of my consoles recently, still have a PS3 though. My favourite game on the system is Metal Gear Solid 4, the latest game I played on it was Flower, next will likely be Fat Princess, and the game I'm most anticipating for the system is Heavy Rain.

I mainly use my PC and 360, but I also have a Wii, PSP and PS2. I'm one of them young degenerate types, so I'm a big fan of the GTA series, the two console games I'd play most would be GTA IV and Crackdown.

Old school gamer here. Started out with Nintendo in 1988. Moved on the Sega Genesis, Sega Genesis Nomad, PS1, Nintendo 64, PS2 and now own a PSP. These days I play games on PC primarily, but if Sony lowers the price on the PS3 I'll pick one up.

My fav genre are sci-fi mmos. I've played:

Earth and Beyond
Everquest
Lineage 2
Vandetta Online
City of Heroes
The Matrix
Planetside
EVE Online

Can't wait for Star Trek: Online, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Champions Online, and Black Prophecy to launch.

I didn't start playing games on consoles until a little over two years ago when I got a PS2 just so I could play Final Fantasy X and XII. After that I really got into it and enjoyed playing games from my couch. So a year and a half ago I got myself a PS3 as well. And I gotta say, I absolutely love the black beast.

Favourite console games... Valkyria Chronicles is totally awesome. FFX and FFXII as well. I also really like FFVII, but I played that on my PC back in the day. I did buy it from the PS store last week, so I plan to play it again on my PS3. I also really enjoyed Uncharted and all the Ratchet & Clank games. Oh yeah, I also really loved the most recent Prince of Persia game. Man, what an ending. :D

I own a 360, PS3, Wii, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Nintendo Entertainment System, Gameboy Advance, PS2 and Xbox, and am trying unsuccessfully to get rid of the latter two.

Currently playing Punch-Out on Wii, inFamous on PS3 and cheap downloadable games on the 360.

XBL gamertag: Niorah ( I never play online anyway, although I'd like to be able to get some of those multiplayer achievements sometimes :borg: )

Consoles: my PC of course, XboX 360, PS2 Slim, Wii.

Favourite games:
Sacred (1 & 2)
Mass Effect
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Test Drive Unlimited
Fable 2
Trivial Pursuit

I own both a PS3 and Xbox 360, and I'm gh4chiefs on both XBL and PSN. I tend to sell my games as soon as I beat them/get tired of them, so it's a little hard to say what game is my favorite as I've played a lot of really good games over the years.

Currently I'm playing Infamous and I have Red Faction in the hopper just waiting for me to get stuck on Infamous (which looks like it might not be long off). During the winter months I was playing Fallout 3, and while I generally dislike RPG's, that become one of my all time favorite games.

I credit the original Medal of Honor on the PS1 as the one game that really ignited my gaming passion. (If you look it up on Amazon, you can probably still find my review of the game) Probably any good WII FPS (or military style shooter in general such as COD MW) is my favorite type of game although I'm also a big fan of the GTA/Saints Row type games of late.

In addition to these two consoles, I aslo have a DS Lite that I play strictly puzzle games like Sudoku and Picross on. DS "games" are pretty much a joke to me.

i've got a ps2 which i admit i dont use much now
got a ps3 which i've got mainly for blue ray films though i have some games like need for speed undercover and resi 5 other games are a mix of fantasy or racing games
and a dsi which i'm at present completing professor laytons village most other games are puzzle games on the dsi
got a pc but dont really use it for games tried a flight sim on it but got bored so ended up getting rid of the flight sim

Systems I currently own

XBox 360
PSP

Star Ocean (all of them)
Final Fantasy (VII, VIII and X)

I will not make a list of favorite games because it would be too damn long.

Past:
Atari 2600
Atari 7800
Sega Genesis
Sega Saturn
PlayStation
PlayStation 2
Nintendo Gameboy Advance
Xbox
PSP (still own it, but it's since been supplanted by my Zune since I don't like most of the games out for it)

Present:
Xbox 360
PlayStation 3

Currently playing Tales of Vesperia which I blind-bought for $30. I'm 11 hours in and it's turning out to be one of my favorite J-RPGs of all time, much to my shock. No higher compliment I can give it than it feels very much like an old Working Designs game that takes advantage of today's hardware.

Funny how hand-drawn characters in HD and an old-school plotline and gameplay are so much more fun to me than J-RPGs with characters who looked like they walked out of Gears of War.
