I also want to be able to go to somewhere like Yosemite where I can camp out in the middle of knowhere, yet still have my iphone and do face time. Not so much that I cant live without it, but just be able to have the best of both worlds.

Nothing is stopping you from doing this. I have been camping at Yosemite many times (and other places as well) and it is a very nice balance of nature and technology (if you choose to bring your technology along). I love camping. Though I must mention that Yosemite isn't really the middle of nowhere anymore, it's quite popular and often crowded, but there are many places in the Sierras where there are less people around.

I spent the summer of 03 in Yosemite, it was awesome. I know now most of the parks have fake trees and fake cactus' that are actually cell phone towers. It was a bad example, but I think you get my point. I actually hope to move to Northern Cali. I felt very much at home there. Of all the places I've been Yosemite is my favorite.

I also like the 1920s a lot, because it was a renaissance decade like the 60s.

It sucks though because I feel like the things I used to be so passionate about like playing guitar or camping and outdoor stuff or studying history, I just don't feel it anymore. I barely even touch my guitar, just a few years ago I would play about three hours and roughly 4-5 days a week. I havent been camping in years and well, I still study history, but it feels more like a task than a hobbie or whatever. I feel real life has gotten in the way of what I want my life to be. I don't know, I guess I'm just whinning now, but I want that passion back.

Make an effort to do things that do make you feel passionate. They might not stay the same throughout the years, but growing up doesn't have to mean having less interest in everything. I still buy coloring books and color in them when I'm stressed out!
