My speculation is that they will unveil the Enterprise design at comic-con.
It will be less than 9-1/2 months to the film's opening night -- I think by then it will be about time to show a better view of the Enterprise than we saw in the teaser.

I would hope that they would show some cast pic of them all in make-up and uniforms..maybe in the Enterprise bridge..or at least something.
Would give us all something new to talk about than just interview snippets from net and magazines.
I mean..they have cast pics from GI JOE allready out and that comes in 2009 also, i believe.

I attend with my two sons every year, we love it. Lodging is a nightmare though. If you don't already have a room somewhere, kiss it good-bye. Most every hotel in the area has been booked to capacity for the convention dates since last February.
I will be going as well. Hell I have been living in San Diego for last 15 months ! Quite some time. (missed Istanbul
) If I have time to spare from my studies I will be there in weekend. Last year was crazy though...All fanboys massed to entrance with silly costumes. I like comics , sci-fi but I am not that obssesed !

Weird, I just saw this photo somewhere, earlier today (possibly one of a gallery of photos?) but it completely escapes me in connection with what.
I'll take a wild stab and say "a protest or riot of some sort".
