Hey its fun if you do not think too much about it..
On a totally different note comic book logic always makes me grin and laugh with delight. Playing one of the Spiderman games and took note of things which made me giggle a bit due to comic book logic.
Tech is easy, tech is so easy you can almost buy it at the corner store including nanotech. A girl in her teens can build and fashion weapons out of said tech like morphing masks and weapons, has mountains of the stuff and it seems nobody in this universe pays for anything because it seems to be an endless supply of the stuff for her and her little gang.
An ordinary guy working for the BATA in New York was able to fashion a super suit for himself many years prior to the game story and was a thief with super high tech abilities like cloaking, yeah OK right everyone can do this shit in this universe.
