This sucks! I already think comcast is the microsoft of everything microsoft doesn't have. I'm sick of their handling of their sports teams, and this deal with NBC et al just reeks. In a perfect world, this could be good if Hulu and Fancast could be combined into one darling free or limited pay streaming portal, perhaps available with comcast on demand or roku. Would that happen? No. This is just going to mean more commercial and higher fees for Universal channels. What will comcast buy next? I seriously think someone should look into some monopoly business here.

KB24, I understand that you're sick of their handling their sport teams. Believe it or not, I'm very happy that Comcast makes the right decision to buys NBC, so that's means Jeff Zucker won't be as NBC chairman anymore, they're seek to replace him, as long as they're handle it right, I'm happy camper.

Now, you're asking this question: "What will Comcast buy next?" I believe that you already know my answer here. Comcast's next buying spree will be Walt Disney Company, because they tried to buy Disney back in 2004, but then disney ceo Micheal Eisner rejected the offer when they seeks to buy out for 66 billion dollars, so I suspected that they will go after Disney again to capture that glory, so it would restore the disney brand. To be honest with you, KB24, it's their dream to go after Disney long time to come, I'm praying that Comcast will buys Disney next! Believe it or not, I'm anti-Disney, I don't like what Disney has becomes, sooner or later, there won't be anybody to save this company.

I'd love to have the NBC twits and Disney nuts removed from their respective conglomerates, but that just makes more monopoly trouble. There's no way one company Comcast- could own all of NBC universal and all the ABC Disney venues. Comcast can't own both Versus and all the ESPN channels. Even if that brings the NHL back to ESPN, that's just too much power for one company. Besides, they sold their Phantoms team for nothing just so they could tear down the Spectrum. It's not like they want to take over the universe to restore hockey. Oh, how Comcast forgets where it came from!

Disney sold the Anahiem Ducks a few years ago, right? They didn't know hockey anyway, but if they have any part ownership in the team the NHL wouldn't allow Comcast to have parts in more than one competing NHL team.
