I did heard about that,hope they dont redesigned them,i also heard that they are redesigning the cybermen again.
The Cybermen redesign is official and confirmed. They can be seen in the trailer.
The basic Ice Warrior/Ice Lord design is pretty good, but I'd like to see those clamp hands redesigned.
Strangely enough, the clamp hands are my favourite thing about the look of the Ice Warriors, even though I know it makes them look fake.
Agreed, it makes them unique, because the manacle hands look so out of place compared to the rest of their physiology
They could come up with something that has a similar aesthetic while still being more functional.
Ii always assumed the clamp was a glove, or prosthesis. But yeah, I do hope they don't go with a crazy redesign. The cybermen have always evolved and changed, but the Ice Warriors have pretty much always looked the same.
And you just know they won't be able to resist the urge to show one with its helmet off.
A connection to "Waters of Mars" would be nice too.

I also noticed that one of the other baddies featured in the image looks a heck of a lot like The Trickster from SJA. Hmm...

Off to the right of the motorcycle, right in between the motorcycle and the Ice Warrior, is that supposed to be one of the "Spoonheads" featured in the premiere?

Look on the lower left of the image -- one of the shards contains a wrinkled monstery face. Maybe an Ice Warrior without the helmet? There may be a profile view of same in a shard on the lower right.
^I quite like the new Silurian design, although I do miss the third eye.
Plus, it's already been established in Pertwee era that The Silurians had different Tribes and looks, so, the change in appearance is already canonically explained
Right! I think it's actually been explained that the Sea Devils, for example, were intended to be the SAME SPECIES as the Silurians, right?
I don't mind that the Silurians' look has changed; I just think their current look is a lot more generic and bland than the DWatS look. Now, they're basically the same as the Jem'Hadar, Tosk, or any other reptilian make-up you can think of.
