Chuck returning early?!

They'd better give it more episodes if the pathetic Mercy actually warranted a back-nine pickup in their eyes.

mERcy will most likely be given a "back 6".

Trauma is canceled so it looks good for Chuck to get another season. NBC can't cancel everything right? Right?

Awesome. I just hope it's a better transfer than Season 1.

What's wrong with Season 1? I own the BD and have never noticed any transfer problems. Then again, I'm not terribly picky and don't count pixels (not saying you do, but some people really are that anal).

Yeah, I never really noticed anything wrong with them.

But I'm also the guy who will stretch his screen so that there are no black bars on the sides.

Season 1 of Chuck looks pretty shitty. The problem isn't really the transfer though, it's the original 16mm print.

Well, shoving seven episodes onto one BD-50 (or even three onto a BD-25 for the second two discs) can't help matters any.

there are way too many effin medical dramas on tv right now.

MSNBC reported on how TV women aren't like real women. Real women are teachers and secretaries. TV women are doctors, lawyers, crime detectives aka smart cops.

The whole time I was thinking....

THAT'S BECAUSE ALL THE SHOWS ON TV ARE COPS, DOCTORS AND LAWYERS!

Would the idiots rather not having nay women on TV, to make sure it's real?!

:wtf:

Hmm. My class was 75% women. If other schools are anything like mine, we're going to have a Hell of a lot of female doctors.

Were they doctors or nurses? I think nurses might have been on the list, I don't remember because it was so stupid.

Chuck has been picked up for 6 more episodes bringing the total to 19, which is NBC's new "full" season because they are cheap.

It hasn't happened yet. Ausiello's being too cute by half here. From your link:

Sources confirm that NBC is close to ordering six additional episodes of Chuck.
And we all know that close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

According to this article, Zach Levi gave up a movie role because NBC ordered an additional six episodes of Chuck. The movie role he had to pass on was in Marvel's upcoming Thor, where he was to have played Fandral the Dashing of the Warriors Three.

Good news not only for the new season of Chuck, but for a possible fourth season as well. But I would have liked to have seen if he could have pulled off the role of Fandral. Still, I count it as a win. As even if they still don't bring the show back until March as currently planned, it will mean a summer of first run episodes amid a mire of reruns on Monday nights.
