Looks like they are going to treat the extra 6 episodes like a new season instead of trying to stretch out the story from the original 13 episodes. Probably a good call.

With Heroes going down the toilet, I really do wonder what the likelihood is that Chuck will get a 4th season.

RoJoHen, this news is the best I have heard all week. I cannot wait for January and to resume making the weekly Chuck comment and grading threads.

We all should plan on hitting our local Subway sandwich shops to get a footlong on Jan 10 to show our support for the show.

The only thing that sucks about this for me is that my friends and I were all planning to get together for a big Chuck marathon weekend before the Season 3 premiere. Of course, we weren't expecting to have to do this until March.

And with the Season 2 DVDs not being released until January 5th, this is going to be very hard to manage (mostly because I live 2.5 hours away from them now!).

Ugh, some very hard decisions are going to have to be made.

I count my blessings for my foresight there, as I recorded each episode digitally when they originally aired. So I can have my "Catch Up With Chuck Marathon" on the three day weekend prior to the premiere.

My friend has a TiVo, and I think he still has the last few episodes of Season 2 saved. We may have to settle for that.
