Chuck flashes on a mysterious man --who turns out to be Sarah's father (guest starring Gary Cole).

See you all after the show!

I guess I will get the post-show comments going...

Much better this week. Sarah's dad was much more awesome than either of Awesome's parents. Anna returned! But no explanation of where she has been? Scripted like she's been there in the background all this time? Sorry, I will buy a lot of stuff but Anna a character that can hide in the background? I think not. But one thing is for sure, Morgan is a used car salesman's dream. I thought for sure they'd have an original model KITT at the end instead of the General Lee, but I guess they don't want to rub the cancellation in to the newly defunct Knight Rider.

Another great episode. The hour went by too fast and I want more.

Yep, a lot better and for once Chuck isn't acting like an idiot and jeopardizing everything.

Yea thanks to quick thinking by Chuck he helped them shut down the Sheik's accounts and stop a billion dollars of terrorist funding. That's pretty significant.

The Anna thing does kinda bug me because I agree with the whole non-story about where she was. She just didn't work for a few weeks? No mention of what was going on and then poof she's back and trying to get an apartment with Morgan.

BTW, I liked that the name of Sarah's dad is Jack Burton ;) nice Big Trouble in Little China nod

I wonder if the writers thought we wouldn't notice Anna being gone for such a long time, as she is still a minor character.

Dammit, I NOTICED!!!

Good episode. I was a little out of it, so I didn't enjoy it as much as I probably could have, but it was still good. I am beginning to wonder why we're starting to learn more about Sarah's past this season, between the High School Reunion episode and this new one. I wonder if it's leading somewhere.

Although it's was very much like the last episode, I liked the absurdity of it much more. And Gary Cole is always fun. :)

+1

Chuck is really stepping his Spy-game up this episode! In the lobby, when the lady asked "message for Mr. Lichtenstein?!" and Chuck just snapped his fingers... brilliant!

Good stuff. Chuck's gawdawful Hogan's Heroes accent, "Cop Face" and the General Lee as the punchline. Captain Awesome is pretty funny, they should let him do more.

It looks like they're leading somewhere with Chuck's dad too. They've mentioned him several times.

Another awesome ep, I loved it. :D

And casting Bingo Bob as Sarah's dad was a great idea.

Cop face. :guffaw:

Jack Burton, Jack Burton? Where have I heard that name before?

O.

Bug Trouble in little China.

Sweet.

I guess that means that sarah Burton is definitely not her name now, when befopre it was only probably not her name.

I almost expected Jack to come up to Chuck and say "So, um, Chuck, I, um, am going to need you to,uh, come in this weekend."

That was my favorite part too!

I love the idea of having the new KITT there instead of the General Lee. Granted, it wouldn't have been very nice, but boy would it have been funny! Actually, it would have been REALLY funny on a different network and in a couple months.

This week wasn't as un-awesome as last week, but for some reason it doesn't fill me with the usual Chuck awesomeness. It was good, I enjoyed it, but there was something indefinable that was missing.

I agree. Capt. Awesome should get a little more to do. He works well with Morgan. I would like to see him interact more with the other characters.

Okay.

Some evil spud figures out that Chuck is the intersect but they decide to play the long game b replacing Captain Awesome with a captain Awesome doppleganer and then they fight shirtless.

They'd probably stop the fight so they could go work on their Awesome Abs™, like he did with his dad.

The original plan was to make Captain Awesome an evil Russian spy, but his character was so well-received that they just decided to keep him a regular Awesome guy.

Really? Thank goodness for that.
