I just LOVE those pictures of him with the red background. They are positively BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Yeah, I don't know where those red ones came from. I just googled images, and they came up.
Randi, I love that scene. I'm excited about the DVD coming out and working on some screen caps.
His smile looks just like his grandmother's, IMO. Just put these two pictures ^ and below side by side.

Now that i know i can watch a dvd on my computer i'm going to have to learn how to do screen caps. OMG. Won't that be fun!!?!??!

I just got a promotion to Commander and changed my avatar to another inverted USS Enterprise, so when I am promoted to Captain I will change my avatar to an inverted Chris Pine/Kirk, probably something like this...

Not sure if you are aware of it, but you can change your avatar anytime you want to. Or did you mean you just want to keep what you have now and change it later (when you go up a rank.)

I am going to wait until my rank is Captain to do it. It just seems more appropriate.
^ Gotcha! Just wasnt sure if you knew that you could change it at any time!

have you seen the casting clip with Pine talking about his role as captain Kirk.
They are from Chris's casting clip on the dvd that I downloaded from Chris-Pine.org. I'm going to do more tonight. It was really fun. 13 days until the dvd. Can't wait.

I use a little Applescript to mark them right in the DVD player program, so it couldn't be easier. But someone else may want the link, so it'd probably be good to post it.
I liked it; but I think I'm going to like it more straight from the DVD when it comes out.
These screen caps are from a deleted-scene extra track, called "Nicholas Cooks." As Starquest said, it is a funny scene. Chris gets to do a little comedy in it, and he's pretty amusing -- plus, adorable, of course.

Well, bad news. If one looks back through the pages of this thread now, all of my Chris Pine "Princess Diaries 2" screen caps (up until tonight) are gone -- and it's too late to edit them back in. Turns out, I made a misstep earlier and destroyed the album. Yes, I did. I can't believe it myself.
Of course, I still had the originals; and it's easy to make a new album. But unfortunately, the new album has different URL's, and they don't match the markup of the earlier posts.
So I spent some ugly time recreating a new list of thumbnails for the ones that were lost, which is below. I would like the pictures to be in this thread; I hope no one minds if I put them back in here.
