Chris Pine appreciation thread

I remember that interview; she really put them at ease. Chris is always respectful and circumspect, even when he's having fun. I don't think you have to worry.

I like the way the logo is all over his Kirk jumper he is so cute and very Kirk like

He resembles a young Bill Shatner there a lot. Bill was a fine, young animal in his day.

Jeri, I'm not sure where that one was taken. He photographs very well in black and white, doesn't he. Maybe because his eyes are so large and vibrant...

I think you nailed it on the B&W thing there. His mouth and smile are stunners, but the eyes charm a B&W photo. I can't remember if I heard that cabbie story or not, but it's a good one.

I think they both have/had that same compact, handsome, blond good looks together with a passion in their features and demeanor. Their mouths are/were similar, IMO. The casting director must have seen something of the same thing.

Randi, I think she knows (or she had better get a clue) that she may look, but she may not touch! And, I think we'd better set up some kind of rotation here. We can have alternate days, howzat!!! Lol.

I'm reminded of another interview with a very lame interviewer. It was with Chris, Zachary and John Cho. They started out sitting on a sofa, with Zachary taking up about half the space, Chris almost the other half at first, and poor John squeezed in the middle. The body language was really cute to watch. At one point Chris reaches over and pats John on the thigh and John picks his hand up and hugs it. Squee! So cute. They all obviously get along great. I like in the casting segment of the dvd where Chris says he and John used to laugh at stuff that no one else thought was funny.

Man, I could go on and on. I love talking about these guys.

I could too! i scoured the internet after seeing the movie....i couldn't get enough of them (chris mostly)....i watched those interviews dozens of times. But it must be 3 or 4 months since i've looked at them. Now i am in the mood to watch them all over again!

Jeri, Starquest is asking to share him. Can we share him three ways?

Let's see if we are twins, separated at birth. I also like Johnny Depp (geesh, what's not to like there), Jake Gyllenhaal, Nathan Fillion in Castle, and Matt Bomer in White Collar has recently gotten my attention. As far as ST, in the TOS my faves were Kirk and Spock. In nuTrek my faves are Kirk and McCoy, although I love them all. Plus Bruce Greenwood has also gotten my attention. He's def a Renaissance man.
