Quick peek in.....in the "Why Pine might end up like Shatner" thread, someone mentioned that Chris is a smoker. Anyone know this for a "fact"?

Could you learn to love a smokey kiss?

In the continuing "Small Town..." saga, several outlets (today here and here) are claiming "first look" at "Small Town Saturday Night;" but Pam (Starquest) has been keeping us posted on that for weeks, if not months now. Thanks to Pam! No trailer yet; the movie website is up, but not running. It looks as though people everywhere are getting enthused to see Chris's other work. That can only be good for us.

Here is an ontd-Star Trek discussion about the "GQ" iPhone App, which we discussed here last week or two. Did anyone get that? I would get an all-Chris app, but not that interested in "GQ" per se.

And there's another blog devoted in part to making Chris the casting choice for the "Hawkeye" character in the upcoming 2012 movie, "The Avengers," where the edible Chris Hemsworth is already cast as the main character, "Thor." As I mentioned before, it would be cool to have Chris and Chris in each others' movies again. Here's a handsome illustration of the blogger's choice:

I love Twitter. Rene Auberjonois has revealed that his kids went to school with Chris and he has known him since "he was a little shrub." Cute.

While looking around for some more outtakes from the most recent GQ I found a few breathtaking ones from the earlier GQ, which I never got because I guess I had not seen the film by then. Huh.

From Carriers. Hard to believe it is the same guy.

Random pictures I had not seen before. Surfing the net for Chris pictures really pays off. I will have to do it more often.

We posted all the previous GQ pictures here, I think; but they're due a reposting. The Carriers ones are interesting. I don't remember that last one either. Yeah, googling for photos can dredge up some surprises sometimes; I got a couple amazing very early ones of Deforest Kelly a couple weeks ago, which posters in the Urban thread apparently had not seen before.

It is raining Star Trek. The Aero Theater in Santa Monica is having a showing of Star Trek XI this coming Friday night and a local library is showing the movie at 2 p.m. on December 12. All I can say is YAY!
