Chris Pine appreciation thread

I've put the site in my favorites. You could seriously lose a day going through just the STAR TREK caps alone. That site is brilliant!!!! Thank you Jeri for finding it!!!

I'm going through the site...there are so many beautiful screen caps. The Kelvin looks amazing....Chris Hemsworth.....Robau....Spock....of course, Chris....even Cupcake! Jeri, this is a gift!!!!

Not only do we get so see the cast, but inside the ships. This is amazing. Right now i am looking at sick bay. So freaking cool!

Lightened up so we can see his face...i love how he came away from the mild meld with Spock Prime all teary eyed. C'mere Chris...I'll make it all better!

brilliant pics Why did he look all teary eyed
Spock had just released him from the mind meld, and there was some of Spock's grief from the destruction of Vulcan still lingering in Jim's mind.

Ok, I love what you all are posting from these screen caps, so how about some more?!?

Let's see your favorites!

Here's the link again, just in case: STAR TREK HD SCREEN CAPS

It's just part of the meld; sometimes the emotions of the other person spill over.

That was explained in dialogue by Spock.

P.S. From another thread -- our guy was a Lieutenant already, it appears.

This site is awesome. I'm saving just about all of them. Here's a nice one with Gaila. Wow, Jeri. That's cool. I never would have seen that.

That screen cap totally rocks.

Doesn't it? :D He's real, you know.

Pam, lovely picture.

Oh, P.S. -- I'm assuming that picture was from the jump, when Chekov was watching both their telemetry.

Here's a really cool interview with Chris and Zachary I hadn't read before. One of the best parts of the interview is when they learn about the reaction of the crowd in Austin, Texas when Leonard Nimoy surprised them with a screening of the movie. Boy I wish I'd been there. Chris and Zach were so excited about the film's reception they couldn't finish the interview.

Pam, just at first glance, that doesn't look familiar to me either. I'm going to give that a read; thanks!

This is my favorite Kirk moment in the movie; I think he's happiest here. I feel like having the third one framed.

I love those, Jeri. He looks so happy and proud in that last one. And he practically skips onto the bridge of the Enterprise. Aw!!!

Here are two really gorgeous pictures I found in my collection I didn't even remember having but I really like them. He looks really happy in this one. And his eyes are so vibrant and blue in the second one. I love that he supports groups like this.

^ teacake, It's glorious! I need to find who did them and give them a big thank you.

Reposting the link for convenience: STAR TREK HD SCREEN CAPS

Pam, those are perfect pictures. His jacket seems to fit him like a glove, which is nice. What is that charity he supports?
