Starquest, I searched Chris at Amazon, bought all of them that came up, and the boxful cost about $75, IIRC. Money well spent! Examining it in screen caps is a lot of fun, and you see much more.

No, I'm sure I watched my dad tie the ones he wore to work when I was little, but don't remember anything about how he did it. I'd have to follow the instructions.

(I wanted to tell you that if you need to get your post count over the picture and private message threshold, you can play the game threads -- like the five-word thingies, etc. Go around and look for games in forums. I don't know if Ensigns have a lounge, but the rank lounges usually have games.)

Thanks, Jeri. That's a good idea. I was a fan of the original series and a Kirk fan but lost interest years ago. Now, here I am back with Trek and a nuKirk fan. Who woulda thought!
My boss gave me a netflix card for free Netflix for a month so I decided to put Princess Diaries 2 and Blind Dating as 1 and 2 in my queue. I'll watch them and if I really like them then I'll order them from Amazon.

I was already a Kirk fan, too. That was pretty nice of your boss; my brother does Netflix. We've always bought them. Thank goodness we have a basement and don't have to keep all that stuff up here. We do rewatch things on the spur of the moment.

Hey, I want to thank you for starting this thread. It was a good idea.
Not really; just for a short time they have a healthy rivalry. Both their egos are in great shape, and it makes for nice chemistry. Nick does have a valid claim to the throne, but he falls in love with her. Definitely a good guy.
That's why he's looking at her like that all the time; he really does like her right from the start. It's his uncle's idea to try to usurp Mia, and he's the one pushing it.
I have to go to the hospital this afternoon for a procedure. It will take a few hours, and I think I will feel ok tonight; but I might not post for a little while after that.
Jeri, good luck with your procedure. If you cant come back for a while i sure will miss you!!!!!

It's kind of like tying shoelaces; there's a knot in the middle, with a loop and an end on each side. It's the same with a bow tie, only the "laces" are wider and flatter, and on some, the free ends are also tucked back into the knot (as shown in the link I posted above) making two complete "bows", one behind the other.
