Chocolate Bunnies....

Cadbury Creme Eggs are the best. Instant sugar rush.

Do you guys have them in the States?

Hellz yeah. I probably ate about 40 of them last Easter.

I didn't know there were mini ones, though.

I'm surprised you can't get them in the States. The dark chocolate ones are made of crack, IMO.

Just because I've never eaten the mini eggs doesn't mean they're not available. Regular Cadbury eggs are everywhere, so I assume the mini ones wouldn't be too hard to find if I really wanted to look.

Our local Sainsbury was doing big Cadbury Easter Eggs (including Creme egg ones) for £1 each. Great promotion I thought:) Bought 5 to hide til Easter. Ate the lot in 3 days now have to replace them at least double the price :( Curse my lack of willpower *shakes fist*

theyre pretty easy to find where I live(south Florida) they come in 2 sizes, large bag and smaller individual bags. I usually buy the smaller bags b/c if I buy the large one Ill just eat it all in 3 days...

3 days, huh? I am in complete awe of your self-control.

I tried a Cadbury Creme Egg a couple of years ago...
I found it too sweet and sticky...
I'l stick to the normal big hollow ones or the small ones filled with all kinds of fondant...
Or both...
But i think i will get me a bunny tomorrow...

So I got two, the Defiant and the Star Wars....

You even get the NX registry just barely visible on the front of the ship.

.

That is so cool!

Hollow - melts better in tea. And I think thin chocolate has a different taste to it to thick.

Not so keen on creme eggss they are a bit sickly. You used to be able to get green minty eggs which were lovely.

I'm trying to watch what I eat more lately though - I write-off a few chunks of dark chocolate a day as medicinal! - but apart from that I've cut down a lot. Until Easter :D

Are the Cadbury Creme Eggs getting smaller?
I bought some today (I hope they'll survive until Easter), and I was thinking that they seemed smaller this year than they did last year. Unfortunately, I don't have any left from last year to compare them with.

Are the Cadbury Creme Eggs getting smaller?
Either that, or we're getting bigger. :bolian: :(

Personally, I'm not a fan of the Creme Egg [Sacrilege! - everyone] so I wouldn't really know, but perhaps the smaller size is a sign of the current health-conscious, economy-fighting times or something?

On the other hand, if there isn't an ingredient shortage, for the same total mass of Creme Eggs produced, it still involves a higher surface area of chocolate and foil wrapping, however. More chocolate, more litter, and more eggs. Same price (or higher if the British Pound continues to be shafted by the Euro). Profitssss! :bolian:

Back to hollow eggs and things, I prefer mine hollow. I mean, there's only so much chocolate one can have, isn't there? ;) A solid egg is merely a decorated block of chocolate. :p And besides, there's fun to be had in looking inside a hollow egg and seeing the random levels of thickness of the shell where the liquid chocolate has been allowed to consolidate during the moulding process. :D

This thread inspired me to check out the seasonal aisle at the store. I bought some Cadbury cream eggs. Delicious.

I also saw the mini eggs. I've seen those before, but I don't know if I've ever eaten one.

I was also tempted to buy a lot more than just the eggs, but I decided to exercise some self-control.

^ that one just about crossed the NSFW threshold for me, esp given the angle, so I've switched it to a link. Sorry about that.

I had a Cadbury Creme Egg today. The sugar rush was intense.
