Cadbury Creme Eggs are the best. Instant sugar rush.
Do you guys have them in the States?
Are the Cadbury Creme Eggs getting smaller?
Either that, or we're getting bigger.
Personally, I'm not a fan of the Creme Egg [
Sacrilege! -
everyone] so I wouldn't really know, but perhaps the smaller size is a sign of the current health-conscious, economy-fighting times or something?
On the other hand, if there isn't an ingredient shortage, for the same total mass of Creme Eggs produced, it still involves a higher surface area of chocolate and foil wrapping, however. More chocolate, more litter, and more eggs. Same price (or higher if the British Pound continues to be shafted by the Euro). Profitssss!
Back to hollow eggs and things, I prefer mine hollow. I mean, there's only so much chocolate one can have, isn't there?

A solid egg is merely a decorated block of chocolate.

And besides, there's fun to be had in looking inside a hollow egg and seeing the random levels of thickness of the shell where the liquid chocolate has been allowed to consolidate during the moulding process.
