Chocolate Bunnies....

I saw an Easter chocolate in the shape of the U.S.S. Defiant in a store yesterday. I was seriously tempted to buy one. I may yet...

Just for the sake of asking....do you remember what store this was?

It was a Shoppers Drug Mart. There's a whole bunch of them in Canada -- it's a pretty big chain up here, but I don't think they have any locations in the U.S.

I'm sure there'll be other stores selling Star Trek-themed chocolates, though. ;)
I'm in! I'll hit SDM tonight. If they have one I'll post some pictures.

Let's see, solid bunny means more chocolate per bunny so I have to go with solid.

That being said I wouldn't turn down a hollow bunny if one came my way. ;)

Hollow bunnies look so sad once they've been bitten - as though all of their secrets have been revealed. :(

Chocolate eggs or bunnies - they always reminded me of Humpty Dumpty :( So much packaging too.

So in my teenage years I got my parents to buy me the solid blocks instead of the hollow shapes. Maybe not as much fun to look at, but I got more chocolate :)

hollows seem to be harder to find than solid ones...
also I hate those cheap brand bunnies with the colored eyes...
my fave are Cadbury mini eggs...

1 vote for peanut butter filled.

Although once my college roommate and I filled a hollow bunny with dog poo and rewrapped it nicely for a girl who had been quite rude to him. She got it in the mail with a note from her "secret admirer."

I like Cadbury Eggs, but my favorite Easter candies are the malted milk chocolate eggs! And Dove Truffle eggs, too.

So I got two, the Defiant and the Star Wars....

You even get the NX registry just barely visible on the front of the ship.

They are both nut-free, which is important in our house, my daughter is allergic to nuts and we haven't had much chocolate in years, but over the last year there has been a lot of companies becoming nut free in their processing.

Cadbury Cream Eggs are wonderfully nut free.

Now I have to hide these until Easter.

^^^^^^^
Yep, that's the Defiant one I saw on Saturday. I found it kind of amusing that it's a ship from DS9 but nowhere did it say that on the box.
Didn't see the Star Wars one at the store I went to -- nice.

I'm still debating whether or not to get one for myself. I've been trying to cut back on sweets this past year, and so far I've done fairly well. But now that Easter is right around the corner, I don't know if I'll be able to resist temptation... especially when the chocolate is in the shape of something geeky. ;)

Oh, curse this sweet tooth I was given!

The mini eggs are different. solid chocolate eggs encased in a cruncy sugar "shell". Awesome.
Yeah, they are. They should be a banned substance in my house they are so yummy.

*Makes note to buy exactly ONE package for trials sake*

Cadbury Creme Eggs are the best. Instant sugar rush.

Do you guys have them in the States?

Hellz yeah. I probably ate about 40 of them last Easter.

I didn't know there were mini ones, though.

I'm surprised you can't get them in the States. The dark chocolate ones are made of crack, IMO.

What makes you think they're not available in the States?

Cadbury's Creme Eggs are like crack here. Everyone buys them, and they buy a LOT of them....
