As much as I'm looking forward to Quentin Tarantino's take on Star Trek, I didn't know it would be a Discovery movie. Now I'm even more excited. ;)

I know everything is just rumor at the moment, but do we "know" if Trantino's Trek will even be set in the Kelvin universe? Personally I would not be opposed to Tarantino making his film(s?) while the kelvin universe does its thing. The most Trek the merrier!

No, the only comment on that point in the reports was one indicating that they would wait for the Kelvin actors' contracts to expire.

As you say, it's all rumour.
