I am not a fan of the cybermen, and hope they don't dominate this special. A faux Doctor is so much more fun, and I hope the cybermen end up being more of a "Be careful what you wish for!" response to whoever it is that thinks he can pretend to be the Doctor.

But whatever, that looked just great! Can't wait for Christmas.

I just wonder when Sci-Fi is going to play the specials. Hopefully they'll "bundle" it with The Sarah Jane Adventures season 2 somehow. If it's like last year, it might as well be "The Easter Special"!

Can't be the Doctor. Otherwise he would've recognized Ten. Still, its a nice Colin Baker impression.

I have ot say though, after the end of last season its good to see Ten back to his old cheerful self.

very different? they might as well have been reading from the same script, this "other" Doctor is no more than a hyped up spoof of the 10th Doctor.

They were reading the same script, and you're judging his performance on, what? 20 seconds, if that, of screen time?

true, hopefully the other Doctor improves in the actual episode but for the moment I would say he is very similar to 10.
