How much have they done with Jasmine where you are?

I just finished ep 15 this morning. So, she's already dumped him in Betaverse. In Alphaverse, she got her "C" rating upgraded, returned to her old job, the cop covered for her, got a job at Vexcor, and moved in with her, she just grabbed him up off the couch at the end of ep 15

I always wondered why Paula/Jasmine is the only case of a person being duplicated in two different universes...

Ah, I just thought she went through some pretty messed up stuff too, but I didn't want to say to much because I couldn't remember what happened to her when.
If you're interested, when you finish there is a fan site that got their hands on a outline for what we would have gotten in Season 2. If you want it, I'm pretty sure I could find it again for you.

I thought Jade had some humour (01 Boxer in particular), but I suppose other than that it does really like its weirdness (01 Boxer in particular).

Random chance, I'd guess. I mean say you have a universe that's simultaneous to yours, only it's developed very differently with a much higher tech culture and so on.

What are the likelihoods that after a century (at least) of divergence, any of the people living there will look the same as people living in yours? It'd need the same parents meeting and having the same looking children for a string of generations.

Thanks JD, it was easy enough to find your prior link in this thread. I clicked on the link that took me to www.CharlieJade.net, and clicked on the PDF and also download link there, and got a 404 Error (File or directory doesn't exist).

I finished up last night, and yea, it's perfectly well self contained, and that final scene mentioned in the Spoiler box on Post #3 makes me believe this isn't the first time this happened or the first set of Universes it's happened to. Those "Nurses" appear to have a whole ward full of folks in the exact same condition, hence the "Head Six" moments guiding a couple of the Characters.

It would definitely have been interesting to see a second season, but, since it's called Charlie Jade, he'd have to be brought back in some manner

Now that you mention it Kegg, yea, I suppose 01 Boxer's quips worked in the same way Vila and Avon's did in Blake's 7 to keep the gritty series from descending into being depressing

This Series is a definite candidate for a rewatch at some point, it'll be cool to have a better handle on WTF is going on in the first couple episodes (Though I'm glad my first watch took the originally aired path/experience)

From memory, and this is going back a while, there's a conclusion to the season arc, with some things left open for the second season that never came

Good, I bought the two box set but haven't gotten around to watching it yet.

I wish it was available from iTunes or even on a Region 1 DVD

An independent record and video shop in Belfast has tonnes of copies on the shelves for 6 quid, they can't seem to get rid of them

Wow, thanks guys, that was great. It's a Major shame we didn't get a second season, it looks like it would've been intense.

Glad Season 1 finale works so well as a Series Finale, though

Amen to that. One of the biggest missed opportunities, this show not getting a second year.
