Shipping the small amount of unfinished sets (is there more than the unfinished bridge?) to GA. is absurd cost wise; it would be more economical just to start over. By the time they break down the sets, pack and ship them, unload and reassemble them (in an unknown GA studio); it would be far more cost effective to buy some more plywood and 2 X 4's and start over. Besides, he is never going to film "Axanar" anyway, so who cares?

Mike Bawden has replied to my editorial, saying he's disappointed with my conclusion, but he's not surprised. He tells me that the Indiegogo backers are currently being polled to let them have a say as to what happens next (included allowing for backers to have their pledges cancelled.)

He also notes that one option is for the money to transfer to Axanar Productions (which apparently is seperate to Axanar the film) and they have some new projects in (early) works now.
