He just doesn't know when to quit does he?
It's definitely coming together well.thanks mate, I'm happy with how it's coming together this year.
The new sets and graphics look spiffy of course, but what you've always maintained is the level of professionalism, mixed with your unique interviewing style. There's also the wide range of guests you snag! All that makes it worth the wait for your next releaseThanks for the kind words folks. Carlos and I will be chatting next week hopefully as well. Sorry I've been AFK for a while, my Dad passed away at the end of July and I've been focusing inwards on family since, finally peering back as TZ this week with the refreshed Spotlight series.
A little off topic, any thoughts on the new set and graphics? (During an interview with Trek Fan Productions, I worked out that I've produced 52 podcasts in three years... what's Alec done?)
Hell, it's also assuming that everyone else's experience is identical to his own. And, no matter what you think of any of the players in this little drama, or the spectators thereto, that is rarely going to be the case."It is a shame that the fan film community decided to turn against each other in this process because sticking together would have allowed us maybe to reach a better settlement."

Interesting comment from a guy who single-handedly did more to damage and cause division in the fan-film community than anyone in the last 50 years. After what he has done, throwing all other fan-films under the bus, does he really expect any fan-film to support him: seriously? It's mind-boggling to read these sort of comments; this guy is clearly delusional!
I don't know if it should be posted here, but I thought this was interesting. Q&A for people who have donated to Axanar.

Q: Since the Guidelines do not allow DVDs/Blu-Rays to be distributed, what happens to the ones promised as perks in the Kickstarter and Indiegogo?
A: Donors will get the DVD/Blu-rays as promised! All perks are allowed to be delivered after we complete making Axanar in the revised format.
Q: The Kickstarter and Indiegogo said you would deliver a 90 minute movie, but now you can only make 30 minutes of Star Trek Fan Film. What can the donors expect here?
A: While we’ll comply with the requirements of limiting our fan film to two 15 minute segments, there will be more content that we know our fans will love on the DVDs/Blu-Rays While Adhering to the settlement agreement – we will only post the two segments to YouTube – we want to do what we can to make Axanar fans happy and be as close as possible to what we said we would deliver.
Q: What will happen to the Vulcan Scene?
A: The Vulcan Scene will remain publicly available on YouTube, as well as being on the Axanar DVD/Blu-Ray.
If I understand this correctly, they will only release 2x 15 minutes of the film on youtube, but the people who donated and choose the blu-ray/DVD perk will receive the whole film. So that would mean that the film on the youtube channel will be incomplete?

I find it disingenuously dishonest of AP to project the blame onto others for his own decisions and actions. AP has treated CBS/P, fan film productions, fellow Trekkers, and his own donors with brazen contempt. AP also blew through 1.4+ million with nothing to show for it while lamenting over a lack of universal support. He likes to play victim. It's his MO. The world is against him. He'll never admit to any wrongdoing publicly.
Sushi ain't cheap......heard he took a last minute trip to the UK over the weekend......I'm sure it wasn't in coach seating. Daddy likes to be pampered.^^^
one has to wonder WHY he's needing further donations.

At this stage, I believe it's nothing more complicated than he knows there are people out there that will give it to him. And there are.one has to wonder WHY he's needing further donations.

In other words, Axanar ain't happenin'. At least, not the Axanar that was promised.Going on with what Carlos and others touched on regarding the appeal for donations, there's this little gem...........(that even court docs have refuted)

He's walked away with a nice little way to make a profit though via the future studio....and some people still say it wasn't a scam?
