You want to try to tell the whole thing in two 15 minute parts? Or push the limits of tolerance by telling it in two 30 minute parts while adhering to all the other guidelines? (You could probably get away with that based on my impression of listening to JVC talk)

You know this is part of the sad irony of AP's Axanar. Telling the story in something of a documentary style could have worked. Prelude To Axanar could have served as the template. And this approach has ben used before. It's been used in Babylon 5, Stargate SG-1 and M*A*S*H to name but a few. It was also used to excellent effect in History Television's The Great Martian War.

Sadly The Great Martian War doesn't appear to be available on DVD, but it is available on iTunes.

Actually, I am curious to know now what would happen if someone made their own Axanar fan film? One that had nothing to do with Alec Peters' take on Axanar and that was its own original story.
