I would go so far as to doubt that one is even in the works. One thing we can count on - a settlement has not been agreed upon.
Considering Richard Hatch is a friend of his, and Kate Vernon was in Prelude, could he not branch out and start doing nuBSG fan films?
maybe the clerks are distracted by the Led Zeppelin trail?![]()

[Anakin]NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO![/Anakin]Considering Richard Hatch is a friend of his, and Kate Vernon was in Prelude, could he not branch out and start doing nuBSG fan films?
One thing we can count on - a settlement has not been agreed upon. If it had, no matter what NDA's were in place Alec wouldn't be able to help himself and would be shouting it from the rooftops.
Thanks, Carlos! I'll stop doing thisThe arcane mastery (i.e., not mastered by me at all) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure reveal that the countdown from the date of service of the counterclaim likely moved the plaintiffs' response date to June 16 or 17.
We'll keep monitoring Pacer and let you know.
2. nu-BSG could face the same copyright problems.
More like a subscriber to the old axiom about a fool and his money.Ever the glass-half-full type of guy, isn't he?
I was talking about Burnett. It's like the Axahats get all tingly and glazey-eyed when people start talking about giving them money.I meant Robert Burnett, not Fred Hensley. Either he truly still thinks the lawsuit is "going away soon", or his eyes have turned brown because he's so full of crap.
Don't you mean "should face the same copyright problems."
Even if the defendants get hit with the minimum negative result in settlement (no making of "Axanar", hand over the studio, and perhaps no further involvement in ST fan films, EVER), imagine what could happen if he then tried to make a nuBSG fan film using the same tactics that have got us to where we are today!![]()
