The more I think about it, the grumpier I get. I think it's time to take the rest of the night off. How many pages will I miss while I sleep?
That sounds more likely Jody. Can I ask where you saw that, or supposition? I just can't see CBS and Paramount walking away. it's just not logical ( I swear, no pun intended)
I think you're most likely the only person who's ever made this reference. God only knows why I remember that scene from 20 years ago. Well played.Maybe he was just trying to give his man a head start?!?!????

Oh, and it looks like Valkyrie Studios has it's first production:
Star Thieves.
Yes, that really is the name of the film shooting there.

I would be fine with that. It would take fan films back to being what they were originally, and while that would hamper some excellent fan productions somewhat, I think it would make for a tighter, leaner production with greater focus on the areas that work well despite a lack of funding, such as writing.I'm willing to bet crowdfunding will no longer be an option. Which could hamper Axanar if it goes forward, since they seem to have spent a good deal of the money they've already raised.
Or at least capped. I'd rather they cap it. But I would also prefer "no payment for on-screen talent".I'm willing to bet crowdfunding will no longer be an option.
