I pointed out at the Facebook group that searching Google Maps for "ares studios" would direct you to Mike Bawden's PR firm and not the facility in California.

This appears to have been corrected now, right @Squiggy?

Don't attribute criminal acts to what is more likely simple (and expensive!) mission creep. There is absolutely no evidence that points to embezzlement. There are certainly financial irregularities, as I noted in my analysis on AxaMonitor, but nothing to suggest money was stolen, just spent in less than efficient ways.
Not making assumptions, just asking the question.

In a late-breaking and stunning turn of events, Alec Peters and his lackeys and cronies (and yes, even goons!) have seized control over the warehouse known as Ares Studi-***cough*** Valkyrie Studios. In a beautiful hardcover, full-colored and slipcased decree, Lord Alec has claimed ownership of the property using the principles of "adverse possession" or "squatter's rights". Further, the master crowdfund raiser and sci-fi prop master has declared Valkyrie to be "an independent and sovereign nation, free from the oppressive laws of the United States".

All monies under the new "Independent But Totally Professional Real Nation of Valkyrie" have been converted to bitcoin, and a series of honors and appointments similar to British knighthood and other such peerage shall to instituted to any and all as a perk. Simply donate 2.18 bitcoin to be bestowed the illustrious honor of "AxaKnight", or .5 bitcoin to become a Baron in the "Order of Boomer". More perks coming!

Lord Alec closed his decree by declaring war on "the haters, losers and CBS-sycophants" and stating:
"I am master of the universe, and I must claim my domain, even if I hide the "whois" registration info!"

good choice.

Although Alec seems to have erection issues regarding his uprights... By that i mean the Bridge - is that fully completed by now? I know they had done most of it, but I seem to recall some last minute things needed doing.

Question for the legal eagles... What happens if a fire "mysteriously" breaks out at Ares studios and destroys the sets, props and production equipment? Would that end the case against them or could it proceed on what is already on file with the courts?

Drinking my coffee (sorry) and catching up on the latest.

*I have No Doubt this Thread goes to 1000 pages, and Beyond (no intended reference to Star Trek®©™)
*I believe that The 'Mount and CBS would be happy if This Thing did not go to trial.
*I believe Fan Films have already been substantially damaged by This Thing
*I cannot, for the life of me, understand why Winsome & Surreal have not dropped This Thing like an overheating phaser.
*And that is what concerns me...

I wonder if Madame Chief Justice Jespah, or one of our other Knowledgeable Posters could give an Opinion as to why W&S is still in it?
