so go retro and self fund ...got itI kinda expected it. I think any Trek fanfilm project which a) looks "modern" and b) tries to raise a bunch of money will be under heavy scrutiny at this point.

Probably to shut Axanar's everyone else is doing it why pick on us spew.Anybody have an idea as to what caused CBS/P to pull the trigger on Horizon- was it due to the fundraising target level?
Of all fan productions I would have thought they would have been safe- no physical sets and a very simple production set up.
If that's the case then just about all Fan Films are endangered until the Axanar case has run it's course.Probably to shut Axanar's everyone else is doing it why pick on us spew.

Oh
Neil
You know, talk of Peters 'moving on' is what is getting me worried. Even if he loses BIG, what's to stop him filing again for bankruptcy and creating some other company (in whatever field of business) in the future? You hear about that happening all the time.
EDIT: Like what Billj said!
The fundraising level.Anybody have an idea as to what caused CBS/P to pull the trigger on Horizon- was it due to the fundraising target level?
Now that it's increasingly appearing that Alec's misadventures have poisoned the fanfilm pool, I very much want to see him become a persona non grata. Not just in the fanfilm community, but in the Star Trek fandom. This man, and his greed, are starting to ruin things for more people, outside of the hapless folks that got suckered in the early stages of Axanar. I don't want to see this dimestore Samuel Bronston hurt anyone else.

Discovery - both the space shuttle and the specific phase of a civil suit - cost more than Alec can afford.
Tommy Kraft is not a Doe.
Something's coming down the pipe.............this guy wasn't directly tied to Alec, let alone the movie, but it sure smells like anyone and everyone even remotely connected to him at one time or another is starting to run for cover....... (if it was something else, I'm sure many more authors/bloggers/designers etc would be slinking back into the shadows)

Fair enough - I don't know who got paid what or how much they got for working on Axanar.Tommy Kraft is not a Doe.

And you know this how...?
