Yeah, I'm not at all clear on the what the first guideline prohibits. For example, I would guess that a film on the same class ship in the same time period with a supposedly different crew (but with the same actors, playing different characters) would avoid this restriction. Just need to make it clear that it doesn't continue a story from a previous fan film.
I suspect you're right. The reuse of a ship class is the kind of granularity that CBS probably isn't interested in pursuing. And it also throws a lifeline to fans who've spent considerable $ to create a set and then be told they can only use it twice.

I'm surprised someone who worked on real trek (that 1st AD he mentioned from Voyager and Enterprise) is stupid enough to get involved with LFIM and his CF...........(after Sean Tourangeau was declared persona non grata)

Even still. Using Tourangeau as an example, I would think that being unofficially blackballed like that would be incentive enough to stay away from Alec and this mess.
Quite so. And the roster of industry professionals they are allowed to use is limited to those who were already involved in Prelude To Axanar and the so-called "Vulcan scene"

Axanar was granted a few exceptions to the guidelines, thanks to their out of court settlement with CBS
They can only use the professionals and actors who worked on "Prelude To AXANAR" .

They couldn't add any further professionals to the cast or the crew.

Part 2 : Still Going... and going... and going... and going... and going... and going... and going... and going... and going...
Will this one also reach 1701 pages ? Any bets on if it will ? Possibly the safest bet one can make for this ;-)
Anyway... Still 30 days out... right ? Still waiting on that MOVIE, Alac... What's the hold up THIS time ?

Didn't you read the post above? He was busy settling a lawsuit. I'd bet the terms were not in his favor.

Huh... That's troubling. Now everyone in his filming crew will need to be tested and/or treated and the sets all sterilized. That's lots more money - queue a new crowdfund.

Hooray for re-opened "night clubs."

This thing might end up finally getting funded.

ETA: J-Lane's "report" on Alec's illness and recovery was cringey beyond belief.
Dude has some serious unrequited feelings for Alec.
