Becuase it isn't about winning the case. The case is just to bully RMB into doing what LFIM wants which is for him to shut up about axanar and take down all his videos. That is the goal here - not winning damaages in the lawsuit
 
You know, every time I read something like that it amazes me that buffoon Peters keeps calling himself a lawyer. Has he ever actually practiced law?

It's just the thing with lawsuits. It strikes me that someone who's actually a laywer would know what to do to avoid being sued and know how to file a suit or propose a settlement that makes sense. I may not be a "lawyer-by-training," but from my amateur's seat he seems like a pretty shit lawyer for all his talk.

Somebody who went through all the time to go to law school and the time it takes to study and pass the bar but never practices law has to be a really bad lawyer.

Well, she is part of the #istandwithvic movement. One a recent youtube video of hers talking about Vic, Alec got into the live chat and started being a jerk and saying bad things about Vic and brought up the "I am a lawyer" card. I know at least one other person in his camp got in the chat too and they all wound up getting kicked and blocked.

So now she has turned totally anti-anaxar when she could have been a supporter and has done at least 1 other video now attacking Peters, etc.

Total Peters made the studio decision to put up his own video attacking all the #istandwithvic people but made it unlisted so it wouldn't show on the axanar page. Somebody sent a link to Mecha and very shortly after he took it down.

OK, thanks for the explanation. I didn't watch the video, but I can pretty much guess how things went down from the comments here. It really does amaze me how good Alec Peters has gotten at alienating people who liked him.

Yeah, I've never understood the people who hang around on the forums here for shows or movies they don't like just so they can periodically chime in about how stupid it is, and how bad it is, and how only idiots and people with no taste could possibly like it.
I don't mind people saying they don't like something, but I don't understand why people like that have to constantly derail the conversations of people who do.
