Another production update video posted on the youtube channel. The TL;DW is that they're powering the monitors with Raspberry Pi's instead of desktop computers and changing the lighting to LED to cut down the power load. I like that they're providing regular updates for now and hope it continues.

Except for the little fact that they don't need to bridge set to film axanar-lite and don't even know if it will be in axanar-lite at all.

In other words, all updates on the bridge have nothing to do with actually making axanar.

Why are the spending all of this money on the bridge if they're not actually doing anything with it?
Are they using money that's supposed to be going towards the film(s) for the bridge, or is this all separate from that now?

I'm assuming he wants to rent it out to other productions, something has moved it up the priority list in the past 6 weeks or so after no giving a fuck since he unloaded it when they got to Georgia last year.

Something like volunteers with time and money?

Oh FFS.

The $600k (more than that, dude) didn't go to legal fees. They were repped pro bono and yeah, while they did have to pay some fees, it wasn't in that neighborhood.

No, gimme all your money dude, the money went to a warehouse in Valencia where AP was attempting to build a studio to rent out to others. Yes, he was trying to build a pay business off (a) fan contributions and (b) an IP he did not own.

But hey, tell me again about how you don't like Disco, you love love love the Orville or whatevz.

Dude, of course CBS can change canon. THEY OWN IT. CANON IS WHAT THEY SAY IT IS, NOT WHAT YOU SAY IT IS.

I hope you will post that in the YouTube comments. A lot of his followers are really ignorant about the facts here. For what I can tell most of the people following his channel have not seen Prelude to Axanar before this.

I followed his channel because I like his reviews of the Orville. However I am getting sick an tired of his moaning about CBS.

Unfortunately, one of my favorite Youtube commentators has fallen hook, line, and sinker for it:

^ Looks familiar! ;)
Well, JP has kind of gone over to the "we want REAL Star Trek!" dark side to the point where he thinks Axanar might just deliver. I tried to explain that Axanar won't deliver anything but disappointment, and then linked Carlos' AxaMonitor site, but from the assload of Axanar fans already posting in the comments over there, it's probably too late, as they've taken over that section. I expect frothing-at-the-mouth diatribes by morning.
