Thank You, but I would not really classify him as friend, per se, but rather a friendly business contact. I know many actors and producers in the entertainment industry that I could contact at anytime, but I would not say they are all my friends (some of them are though) even though I have a friendly business relationships with them. I have never had any issues with Huston, he is a nice guy, and if the allegations are true about him , then that is unfortunate. I do like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt though.

Huston is behind this, and is at the 1:50 mark on the video
Wow, that looked really cool, although I see the video was 5 years old. Had they made much progress before the current drama, or was this another Axanar situation?

It was not an Axanar situation, although we both had Alec and Huston at our production at the same time in 2013. ;) lol

Seriously though there was never any issues with Huston and the bridge restoration as far as I knew, it was a very cool thing they were doing.

Last I heard people were complaining about financial mismanagement as the "museum account" was $400 over drawn...……...

I was looking through an old Trekmovie comment thread about FedCon USA from 2008, and I found this chestnut:

Yes, this is what I heard about this project a few years ago. There was a big bru-ha-ha with the crew but I never knew the outcome. Here is a link to a letter from an attorney regarding the mismanagement:

The quoted “shitty 1990s Nintendo graphics,” is a weak example of "verbally abusing", since out of context it could simply be a bald assessment/opinion of some work and not the individuals responsible. He should have gotten a more salient example.

Is His Most Precious on that list? :guffaw:
He is not.

And the new title is doneish. :D

Is that how you broke your clavicle?

Your image isn't showing up for me. If I try to "view" it, it takes me to an AOL login page.

That entire letter feels like an exploratory attempt to get the (relatively) prominent folks on the Board to pay attention.

What I found was a comment by Alec Peters regarding Tim Brazeal's conduct in the failure of FedCon USA in 2008. Instead of trying to post a screencap (which doesn't seem to be working), the text is as follows:

(A)s someone who was at this convention and witnessed every aspect of this debacle, I can tell you, that the promoter did not have the capital to do this event and the event should have been canceled weeks ago. He simply screwed the BSG actors and left them hanging. He screwed all us fans by leading us on.

PLUS FedCon German screwed us all by lending their name to this promoter, who if ANYONE had done a little due diligence on, would have found out about his past scams. FedCon Germany is trying to distance themselves, but they screwed us all by implying that this convention would live up to the FedCon Germany standards. What idiot thought it would be OK to let this promoter use their name? What real business would ever do that?

Tim Brazeal is at best a lousy businessman, and at worst a scam artist. But FedCon Germany can’t escape their share of the blame.

Alec Peters

Ironic statement, isn't it?

In the latest Axanar Drama News, Peters and his merry band are all up in arms about a filmmaker who is using Open-Source Axanar as a way to make a behind the scenes movie about Axanar. They are claiming copyright. For all of those who don't know what Open-Source Axanar is, Peters made the announcement last year that he wanted Axanar to be available to all fans. By fans, he must of meant sycophants.
