Legalities? I was just using the Ares V as a metaphor for something huge and expensive that was eventually cancelled and never built.
Maybe I should say......anymore. I unfollowed and left all the Axanar groups about 6 months ago. The anti-Axanar Camp seemed to become just as stalkerish and unhealthy as LFIM.

TL;DR: The studio is moving, a new 501c3 is being formed for donations, an audio drama of the original script is coming out (this year iirc), and the goalposts have been shifted officially to 2022 for the release.

You know, it really is kind of impressive that Alec Peter has managed to keep this con going for so long, and it sounds like there are no signs he's going to be stopping any time soon.
