I felt dirty watching it.........but I too could not look away. Binged it all in a night. I only started watching to understand all the memes and comments my uncivilized friends were posting.......then 15 minutes in I was a crack whore.Tiger King was an absolute train wreck that me and my wife couldn't look away from.

I just couldn't. The whole concept to me was "People watch this shit?!?"
We watched it. We felt dirty afterward, but we watched it. Was like watching a dirty discount carnival.
I said that for weeks...........You're better for not watching. It can't be unseen.
I've heard a lot about that thing. I've seen memes and little snippets and I definitely plan to stay away from that dumpster fire.
You people wringing your hands over Tiger King are taking it way too seriously. It's a show full of people who were put on this Earth to be laughed at...and act like they're proud of it. This is especially true of Joe Exotic, It's like a circus where the only acts are the freak show and badly trained animals, and the biggest freak is the ringmaster.

If you got enjoyment out of it, more power to you! My wife and I just don’t watch a lot of TV these days. This was a concept when it started rearing its head, we simply decided to say “Pass.” It just did not look entertaining to either of us. And one can judge content without judging the people watching said content. I’m surprised it’s as popular as it is but I’m sure there have been shows I’ve watched and enjoyed that others think isn’t worth their time. Different tastes and all of that.

Tiger King was a bizarro train wreck and I watched the hell out of it, but it becomes a lot less fun when you learn how much they edited out (lots and lots of Joe Exotic racism) to make it mass market Netflix fare.
I wonder if you put Joe Exotic & LFIM in a cell together, who would end up surviving........

It was amazingly entertaining, no doubt about it, but Joe Exotic, Carol Baskin and Doc Antle are classic con-artists/manipulators. I ended up feeling really badly for the people that they lured into that world.

I can't feel sorry for all of them. Carol's second husband and Joe's employee that got her (his, whatever) arm torn off and still has sympathy for Joe are lifers who are perfectly happy to keep their blinders on, so I give no fucks about either of them.
