Catherine O'Hara Legendary Actress Dead At 71

An utter tragedy to see her gone far before her time. Beetlejuice was an indelible part of my childhood.

It reminds me there was an entire SCTV reunion special that Martin Scorsese directed for Netflix about a decade ago that still hasn't seen the light of day. Maybe this will help dislodge that from their servers?

I was wondering about that, to the point I'd wondered if I heard incorrectly about the reunion, because once it had been announced, I never heard anything about it again. Maybe it will come out now that she's passed.

I don't want to sound insensitive, but how can her net worth be only $10M

every website reported that her net worth is only $10M. Further, I can only find 1 charity that she donates to: Terry Fox Foundation. Where did all her $ goes?
She was first and foremost a character actress in the best sense. She probably never achieved Madonna/Vin Diesel levels.

Apparently the issue isn't Netflix but Martin Scorsese being too busy to finish it.

Whenever I see celebrities die, I look at the age they died. The average from birth life expectancy is 75. If you make it to 65, you should live to be 82. She didn't make it to 75.

This is super sad. It makes you want to value the years you do have because you have fewer than you think.

O’Hara’s cause of death has not been revealed, though she had a rare medical condition called dextrocardia.
When it comes to celebrity deaths where the cause of death is not disclosed, I watch so many movies and shows that a lot of things come to mind as possible causes of death.
