Google's recommendations are based on how many times the sequence of words appear on the net. Since "How do you have any pudding" is part of lyrics from a Pink Floyd song called "Another Brick In The Wall", that particular sequence of words appear more often on the net than just about any other word sequence beginning with "How do you ...". And that's why its part of Google's recommendation.

The "Beckett in DC" storyline is already dragging for me. And does Pi have any use? I love Castle but I hope they put Beckett back in New York forthwith.

^ I agree with the above poster. I think that was the first Castle episode that bored me. Beckett's last word in the episode "Partners-" really hammered the point in that she is way over her league and she can't achieve justice as she did in NYC. There's something missing in these beginning episodes.

For a while there, when Beckett was going after Defense Secretary Glenn Morshower, I thought they were going to have Beckett scuttle her CIA career to save Castle and then have to go back to the NYPD. It's actually a little impressive that they didn't go that predictable route.

However, the end showed that the choices made by the CIA sometimes involve letting people get away with crimes for "the greater good," and that didn't sit well with Kate. So I think before long she's going to decide the job requires too many moral compromises and will choose to leave.

Anyway, I should've known who the real killer would turn out to be. On this show, it's almost always the first person they question. At least it feels that way.

The ending pretty much guarantees Beckett will be resigning and returning to her old job in NY. While DC is challenging and exciting, she would be happier knowing the criminals she catch are in jail rather than walking free just because they're powerful government officials. That, and she misses having Castle as her partner.

And does Pi have any use?

His sole purpose seems to be to get on Castle's nerves. And ours. The sooner he goes the better.

I would also agree with Christopher in that I was pleased that they didn't have her ruin her career by going after the Secretary of Defence. It's pretty clear that having to let people go unpunished will be what pushes her back to being a cop in NYC. Hopefully they don't drag it out too long.

Finally saw the premier and loved it. Was great seeing Lisa Edelstein as Agent McCord. Robert Duncan's score was great again for this episode. I hope we get a score release for "Castle" soon. His score is just sensational. I could careless about Pi.

The only reason I care about Pi is because he is so freaking annoying and it's pretty clear his only purpose on the show is to aggravate Castle.

As others have said too i don't feel like this storyline is working out for the show.. it's too big for Castle, i.e. the cases involve national security, high ranking government officials and such. I see Castle with a bit more focus on smaller cases of everyday people in NYC.

Fortunately the seeds have been planted already for her leaving the Feds as she is not the compromising type when it comes to putting bad people behind bars. However, as a sidenote, to be fair to the SecDef.. he made a tactical decision to achieve mission success in a very high stakes mission (second only to catching/killing Bin Laden) and it "only" comes at the cost of a US operative. Call me cold but i believe the President would have decided similarly.

Anyway.. i think it'll take an episode or two more before she returns to NYC realizing that Fed work in Washington DC carries to much compromise for her to do it all her life. By that point she would have gotten it "out of her system", meaning she took her one in a lifetime chance and came to the conclusion that it wasn't for her which is all she may have wanted and needed. It's very good that Castle didn't push her to stay in NYC because that would have been an everlasting shadow on their relationship.

So depending on the general plot they now have a season to arrange the wedding and they still have to finish up the JB murder case by nailing the senator/governor (whatever he is).. depending on if they get a season 7 (ratings seemed to be holding at a good level) they might reserve the wedding and the conclusion for separate seasons or they might want to do big finishes in February sweeps and the season/show finale.

Yeah well.. my mind wandered and i occasionally did other things while the episode continued.. usually not a very good sign for a show (but then Castle lost quite some appeal for me from mid season 5 onwards and days can go by before i watch the newest episode, something unheard of in previous seasons).

I'm confused by that, too. Granted, at one point it looked like he was behind the murders, but that turned out to be a red herring. He was arguably guilty of a cover-up, but, in the end, he wasn't responsible for any of the murders . . . .
