Norman Osborn fired the head shot that killed the Skrull Princess leading the Secret Invasion on Earth, which cemented his position as a good guy. He led first the Thunderbolts and then the "Dark" Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D.. Norman "fired" the Avengers and replaced them with his own Avengers line up, using recostumed super villains to assume the expected archetypes in the Earth's MIghtiest Heroes roster.

Moonstone took on the identity of Captain Marvel.

You know that she is a real psyho, becuase she used to date Clint Barton.

I seem to recall a time in the late 60s when T'Challa started calling himself the Black Leopard to differentiate himself from the revolutionary organization that was in the news at the time. The original name of the character was actually Coal Tiger, which was later used for an alternate universe version of the character. The practice of having Black characters with the word Black in their names (Black Lightning, Black Goliath et al), was a "Black Power" thing and considered progressive at the time, just like turning White characters Black is considered progressive now.

More of a Blaxploitation thing. Following a movie trend as comics are wont to do.

Bobbie Morse was married to Barton what does that say about her?

That she is a real psycho.

Ditto for Spider-Woman and the Wasp.

Where else has Clint dipped his wick?

Oh. Natasha of course. :)

Did the public know that Blaxpoitation was incredibly condescending in the 1970s?

That was an era when you could still buy little chocolate baby shaped candies called n------ babies, so probably not.

I'd say Emma Stone, except I really want Sony to resurrect her as Spider-Gwen. Maybe Rachel Nichols or Tricia Helfer. Or how about Janet Varney?

Okay, answer this for me (if you know); how did Spider-Gwen come about?

As for who I wan to see:

Katee Sackoff (first choice), Dakota Fanning (second choice).

She's from an alternate reality. Gwen was bitten by the spider, Peter became the Lizard. It's a good comic too, I can see why they are keeping her around for a while.

Of course, the movies wouldn't have to use the same origin for the character. They could do a version of the clone story (the original one, not the bloated '90s "saga") and resurrect Gwen that way.

Really? I'm not saying you are wrong but I don't remember those and I grew up in a pretty redneck part of upstate New York.

Or was this a southern thing?

You don't have to be in the south, just very white areas of New England where privilege reigns can leave anachronisms in place for a while. By the mid to late 70s they could be called chocolate, or sometimes licorice, babies. I haven't seen them since the late 70s, though.

Here's the offenders.

That's pretty genderist. Who says Captain Marvel has to be played by a woman? It should be whoever best personifies the role!

;)
