Carrier Command

I've just been made aware that Bohemia Interactive, developer of Operation Flashpoint and ArmA, is working on a sequel to the 1988 classic Carrier Command in the form of Carrier Command: Gaea Mission. The game is set for release in 2010 for PC and "next gen" consoles, by which time one assumes that particular moniker will have been abandoned by even its most zealous adherents.

Just a heads-up for fans of the original.

I was fan of this one also. But I'm not sure what they will do with it now, the original was very basic.

If done right it could be quite fun-the original sounds like a blast.

WOW talk about a blast from the past.....I remember when i saw this running on my Atari ST 520 for the first time, i thought my eyes would melt out of my head with all that 3D.

I was able to download it off the internet and run in the DOSBox emulator. I forgot the IBM version didn't have the sound of the Amiga version I was used to.

Not sure if I want to go through the trouble of getting an Amiga emulator running so I can play the Amiga version. I already had DOSBox running because I like to play the original Master of Orion from time to time.
