While it is designed for amputees, and people with certain disabilities, it would only be a matter of time before it became financially viable enough for people who are merely lazy to use it.

Needs to be smaller and less plastic looking. Looks like a bad 90s sci-fi movie prop right now. The next version being able to switch to a sitting position is also definitely needed. It is essentially a segway with straps and supports, but I can dig it.

Just think, you could get one with a computer built in, stereo, cup holders! Ball massagers (granted, not very useful if you're a paraplegic)!
