It's not surprising to me that the same people who are opposed to this film, for they believed there is some kind of agenda in it, have a fixation on her figure, especially her butt or the lack thereof.

Did I notice Larson's figure in the film? Not really. I was paying more attention to her face.

I have seen the film three times. I enjoy the film. The only thing I do not like is the final end scene - I have not stayed through the end credits to see in later viewings. If I want to see a cat cough up something, I have seven different opportunities at home.

I am thrilled the film is performing spectacularly at the box office, for it opens the door wider for more female superhero movies in the future.

What? You're just joking now, right?

The Supreme Intelligence is incrementally a different "person" every time a new Kree is added to it's collective perspective. Across the Galaxy, 10s of thousands of planets, 100s of millions of Kree (a tiny percentage of the total civilization) are dying every day from mostly natural causes, and ordinary accidents. How quickly is every Kree how far away from Hala uploaded to the Intelligence? Instantaneously? Centuries later via fast as light delivery or hand delivery from the boodocks?

Like reddit, up voting and down voting, the composition of the Intelligence, the thousands of quintillions of people in there, determines it's perspective and how it will make choices.

Thanos killed 100s of trillion of Kree in a moment.

If all those Kree are uploaded into the intelligence, as instantly as technically feasible, then the intelligence is going to have a lot of it's opinions on many subjects upsidedownededon a dime.

Is an afterlife inside the Surpreme the birthright of every biological Kree, or the promise to every naturalized citizen of the Kree Empire as well? Was Titan part of the Kree Empire, did Thanos have Kree Citizen ship? Is he destined upon death to be uploaded to the Supreme intelligence? Does Thanos have the force of will to over power 1000s of Quintillions of distinct minds, without a connection to the mind stone?

In the source material she is roughly on par with vision, scarlett witch and Dr Strange, definitely below Thor and levels below Thanos but this isn't the source material and they are upgrading her.

At present, yes. When she was Binary she was much more powerful and that's the version they're using here.

My media feed is pretty balanced. I have a couple cousins who love posting pictures of near naked women while a couple of my female friends love posting pictures of shirtless, muscular men in firefighter hats or kilts. And yes, Aquaman in his many poses have entered the picture as well. It's human nature to be attracted to that. What's not cool is the body shaming that this small segment of haters is doing.

I agree the body shaming is out of line but, and I say this as a LGBT woman, the other part of it which is getting compliments on your body is not "toxic masculinity" or w/e. I work hard on my physique and I do like compliments on it from guys and girls. I'm not into guys but it's still nice to be appreciated in a classy manner. On the flipside I can see Jason Momoa is an attractive man.

If it's too forceful then it's an issue but we have got to a stage where some guys dont feel they are allowed to compliment a woman on her appearance anymore which is ridiculous.

Binary isn't captain marvel in the same way that the Thor we see on screen isn't Rune king Thor.

They have made carol OP in the MCU for the reasons I have previously stated as well as keeping up with "power creep"

After Thanos they are going to need an even bigger "Big bad", likely galactus imo so the new characters coming in will have to be able to hang with that power level

I wonder why Howard didn't get powers? ;)

Don't know if any one has mentioned but I liked that some of the Skrulls were the smaller "weaselly" type seen in their first appearance (FF#2).

I’m still waiting to open the door to nonhumans. Superhero movies starring dogs or ducks or turtles tend to underperform. Not to mention, they tend to rely on visual effects to portray the characters, which denies roles to deserving animals.

I just got back from watching it. I LOVED it. The trailers and marketing completely undersold Brie Larson. From advertising, I was expecting this to be similar to a Kristen Stewart-one-facial-expression-monotone-voice superhero. But, Brie did a great job and can't wait to see her kick Thanos' ass in Endgame!

I really loved the 90s vibe this movie exuded.

My ONLY complaint. Post credits, after we're told that even Nick Fury's own mother calls him just "Fury" I was a little disappointed his nameplate on his desk said "N. Fury" instead of just "Fury"
