It's in the same style as those on the Starfleet Museum website. It was the first one that came to mind, and it was that or a really crappy looking clip art bird feeder thing.

Yup, your ship can't be canon. You left out the zero and are
raping my fond memories of a proper registry number on my ship.

As for the Kelvin being "Canonized", once it's on screen it's canon.

I like Kenneth's design and model a lot, but this has nothing to do with "canonizing" the Kelvin.

The Kelvin is - or shortly will be - canon, just as it is. This TOS-ish design is not canon, and there's no specific reason to think that it ever will be.

What's being done with this variant is just redesigning the Kelvin out of TOS components in order to make it fit more comfortably with what we're used to seeing these ships look like on TV. Canonicity simply doesn't enter into it.

Name 4 canon ships with an 0 as the first number s there registry!
Let me: THERE ARE NONE!

2. You opinions are fine, but I see it like this: as the Kelvin is one of the only half decent things in the new fim,(and is liked more then the new Enterprise) it deserves to be canonised. Aren't those DS9 kitbashes canon?

It is the only officail known Earth- Romulan war ship, and there are gaps in FASA which in the opinon of Ken Thompson Jr. He actually helped me with this because he agreed. He's even placing an avery class ship in Starship Saladin!
