And back on topic (wrenches mind away from image) since I'm not likely to be able to see it in the cinema again, I don't mind if there's a no-extras DVD out quickly - I just want to see it again... often!

Be careful what you wish for. Where Paramount's concerned, you'll probably get it.

Just so long as there's a proper collector's edition later. (or did you mean naked McCoy )

12 months down the line, Paramount will release the Special You Knew It Was Coming Fan Rip Off Not So Bare Bones Edition where using the buttons on your remote, you'll be able to play on-screen Operation with a CGI created, fully functional Karl Urban.

I'm curious to see what sort of DVD this movie gets. I assume there will be a single-disc, bare-bones DVD, a 2-disc collectors edition, then then a BluRay.

I don't know... as long as it's less than £20 for a crap load of extras I'll take it. I very rarely pay full price for a DVD and usually wait 'till the price goes down - but this is one rare occasion where I might not wait.
