Spoilers Can we itemize PIC S2 canonical mistakes.

2.) Casting an actor almost identical to Dr. Bashir's actor... When he first appeared, I said to myself, "Ooooh, Bashir! Random, but cool cameo nonetheless!" Eventually I realized it wasn't Bashir, it was Gaius Baltar from "Battlestar Galactica." I'm pretty sure even the actors themselves have pointed out how eerily similar their looks and mannerisms are. James Callis is a fantastic actor, but he should only ever have been cast in "Star Trek" as a relative of Dr. Bashir, or a replacement for Alaxander Sidding if such a thing was ever needed for some reason.[/spoiler]

Why? They don't look that much alike, especially these days. There's no reason James Callis should be restricted just because he vaguely looks like Alexander Siddig.

In fact, it worked beautifully as a red herring. I recall Robert Picardo mentioning that he had lobbied to do a cameo in Season Two as the EMH and, for a moment, I thought Dr Bashir had replaced him... especially since we also saw Elnor wearing a holo emitter - but then the scene begins to unfold.

Some people find one of those undertakings to be kind of kinky, Or so a friend tells me. :shifty:

Yes.

I am speaking of the pronunciation.
A little late in responding to this, but "Morris" is a very common pronunciation of Maurice. The actor Maurice Evans, probably equally known for being a Shakespearean actor and playing Samantha's father on Bewitched, pronounced it that way. As did Maurice Hurley, the TNG season 2 showrunner and creator of the Borg.

And Maurice Gibb, band member of the BeeGees.

You’d have to ask @Maurice how he pronounces it, though.

I'm a fan of classic Trek. I think Star Trek: Picard is reverent of its source material, particularly in "The Star Gazer."

The problem isn't where you posted. The problem is that all but one of your complaints is without merit -- and the one that has merit doesn't really matter.

Why do you think

One thing that immediately makes all of Star Trek: Enterprise inferior to all of Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Lower Decks, and Star Trek: Prodigy, is the incredible misogyny of the series. The way the producers treated the character of T'Pol and her actor Jolene Blalock -- and to a lesser extent, the way they treated Hoshi Sato and Linda Park -- is genuinely horrifying. She's routinely objectified, sexualized, and demeaned for being a woman. This never happens in modern
Enterprise inferior to Discovery makes me bust a gut laughing.

Many would agree with it too.
Hate to point it out, but Discovery has more haters than any ST in the history of the franchise.
I highly doubt that given the not so warm welcome TNG received when it first aired. Or, more amusingly, how mocked TOS was when I would hang out with my TNG preferring friends. There's just more ways to express it nowadays, which is the more unfortunate facet of social media.

Discovery is still my favorite of the new series, though I prefer Season 1 and 2 over 3 and 4. Picard Season 1 was excellent daring and exciting. Season 2 was not.

Not a Discovery hater, but Enterprise IS the better show, in my opinion. It has a better ship, better setting, better characters, etc. Hell, I'll say it...... a better theme song.....teehee. Seriously though, after 4 seasons, I know more about Mayweather then I do about 3/4 of the cast of Discovery.
