"The Enemy Within" is certainly fraught with misogynistic under- and over-tones, such that it eclipses the central point of savagery balanced by intellect. A pity, too, because that meditation is worth considering. While the actors were still finding their way with characterization, I enjoyed how Shatner, Nimoy, and Kelley attacked the material.
But the attempted rape, Rand's blame-shifting, and Spock's final line--it is hard to watch that.
