Calling all Enterprise Fans

Nobody wants to see Enterprise return more then I do, believe me, but it isn't going to happen.
Paramount is content on recycling a 40 year old show instead.

The best we can hope for is a passing mention to ENT in the eleventh feature.

If we really want a fifth season, we should come together and write it ourselves. There's never been a better time, assuming there's any interest left in the show. The follow-up novel to The Good That Men Do isn't due to hit bookshops for years!

Count me in! It can't hurt.
GREAT! our board is only 5 days old, we started with 2, we are growing slowly, we know it may take time, but we know that there wont be any Trek on TV untill after Star Trek 11 comes out which would be Dec 2008, so the next TV sereis probly will not happen till the following year fall of 2009 or later, that gives us 24 months to get the fans together to send just 1 letter each month, this will keep Enterprise on the minds of CBS/Paramount, and when they are ready to do TV again Enterprise can be on there minds!

May All Enterprise fans pass the word on feel free to copy and paste the site url where it can be seen http://anenterprisereturn.ipbfree.com/index.php?act=idx

Thanks For your support and help Bruce

So we're not talking a fanmade production but new episodes produced by Paramount?

Not ever going to happen.

A nice thought, but fantastically unlikely to ever get anywhere. The probability approaches zero.

The sets are gone (sold off at Christies and on eBay), the costumes are gone (likewise), the actors have moved on after their contracts expired, and the production team all got new jobs years ago.

Wow.

I LOVED ENT, but we are not getting S5.

Sorry.

I hate to say it, but it's just being too long to expect any gains from letter writing at this stage. Even IF (and I stretch the near impossibility of the word) the higher ups at CBS could be persuaded, it'll just simply be too hard to get the cast and the production going again for it to be of any benefit to them.

So if there's going to be anything new it'll have to be a fanmade project. Here's a link to my own effort: http://www.trekbbs.com/threads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=8270772&Main=7989669#Post8270772

At the Manny Coto-lameness going into the end of season 4 ... no. I'm glad we didn't get it. Bound? Demons? No thanks. And I'm a fan. Eeep!

Even if we write it ourselves, Paramount would have to approve it, fan made productions can be good, but are very costly and time consuming, leaving only a few fans that can help.

Fans are scattered accross the US and around the world, sending 1 letter a month till the next TV series hits the air waves is easy and something everyone can do.

When the next Trek Series starts up production, sets will have to be built weather its for Enterprise or some other incarnation of trek.

If we say nothing It will be some other type of trek.

What message would be sent to CBS/Paramount if over the next 24 months they receive just 200 letters each month?

What impact would it have if they recieved 500 letters a month?

When ready to do TV again Enterprise would definatly be on there minds!

Enterprise is worthy of this small effort! Later Bruce

Its a worthy effort, if not for another season but a DVD

With the "1 Letter A Month Club" in place now, we will at times 2 or 3 a year have a Special Mailing, no additional mailings, but for the 1 letter for say June as an example, we would ask all to make a special request of CBS/Paramount,
(so no one ever has to send more than 1 letter a month)
we have 2 ideas:
1. A request for an Enterprise Game
2. A better season 4 finale which would better suit Enterprise, and especially for the cast! Could be a made for tv movie or a direct to dvd release, if it did well could be a steping stone to a series return!
Anything Enterprise fans do to keep Enterprise on the minds of TPTB will help!

Bruce...Brucie.....The Bruce-ster!!!!

Like I told you on StarTrek.COM, it's over. You couldn't get ENT back when you were part of the hilariously foolish "Save Enterprise" campaign. The reasonable ENT fans have moved on. The franchise is moving on. There's not going to be a new season four finale. Nor is there going to be an ENT TV movie, or direct-to-DVD project, of which the petition relating to the latter attracted pitiful support. There's not going to be a series return for T'Porn and Porthos. It's done. It's dead. It has ceased to be.

Yes, my advice is to settle for a video game.

If they say no, then buy that little Johnny Lightning NX-01 die-cast model, and you can stage your own ENT adventures.

Best idea: Fund a professionally edited version of TATV and Demons/Terra Prime that respects the show and the fans, and call it "Project True Valentine."

^ It deserved a feature-length send off and that option wouldn't need a fund at all. Unless you want to hire original actors for new insert footage or professionally trained voice immitators to redub dialogue.

it would be nice to have a mini series like farscape had.
if its parent company gave the green light sci fi might be interested considering the ratings the reruns have gotten.

Farscape got a mini series, becuase ther fans showed there support by sending in letters.

If Enterprise fans are willing to do the same, we may get a better season 4 finale.

There will be no new trek on tv for the next 2 to 4 years, if we do nothing Enterprise will be forgotton

If we speak up with just 1 letter a month we may see more enterprise when TPTB are ready to do a trek series on TV again! Its That Simple!
