Calling all Enterprise Fans

There's a big difference Bruce.

Farscape had enough support.

ENT does not. You can't create millions of new ENT fans out of thin air.

Dec 1st is fast approching, for those that have joined my e-mail reminder list I will be sending it out then, for any who want to join in, its not too late to get on my reminder list, to do so just email me thescifinut@gmail.com Later Bruce

I would like to be a part of this. Wasn't someone trying to make an Virtual Enterprise series for Season 5? I saw it awhile back on the fan productions forum I think. I still think this would have at least a chance to come back. Especially after, James Crawley saying he doesn't even like what the new movie Enterprise looks like.

I donated five bucks to the Fifth Season petition a few years back. Too bad too - Coto was fantastic.

As said above, I too would like some passing reference to Archer, the NX-1, ANYTHING having to do with Enterprise in the new film - both as a nod to Trek-history, Enterprise's fans and perhaps to create a few new ones.

They certainly weren't there when ENT was sliding into oblivion. They don't appear to be there for the re-runs on Sci-Fi. They weren't there during the hilarious "campaign" to save the show.

Where are they?

The number of fans who want something completely new is probably higher than the number of fans who want more Enterprise. I doubt there's any chance of getting more official episodes or a movie of ENT.

hmm odd that years old reruns are sometimes out ranking first run shows on sci fi.

and as i pointed out before we never knew the true numbers most of the time for enterprise since the weekend showings were not included in the ratings.

a few times info about the numbers did surface indications were they were close to the week night showing.

It's sad, but true: neither ENT, nor DS9 are ever coming back. I wish it weren't so, and I was one of the people who avaited every new ENT episode with bated breath. Really.

But I'm moving on.... Trek XI it is. And I dearly hope we'll get some tiny reference to ENT in it. Nothing too conspicuous, but something for us fans. That would be great.

Yeah, theyre not comming back. Unfortunately neither is Treks "look ahead" ideology, as Trek 11 is a step BACK 40 years...

The last Star Trek movie was set AFTER VOY and it flopped.

This suggests that the time period a Star Trek incarnation is set in is less important than how said incarnation is executed.

And this counts as "droves?"

Yep there were a lot of things against the show:

Not shown in a uniform time when in first run anywarer from 4pm to 1am depending on the local UNP.

A lot of folks did not have UPN!

Prehempted for other events way too often

And yes in rerun on scifi it has beated there 1st run shows several times!

Any thinking person can see that if syndicated in first run on a uniform time say everyware at 7pm, and promoted it would have the #s to sustain itself!

Now if only 10% of those who watched the show would voice that to CBS/Paramount on a monthly bases it would go a long way towards getting our show back in some form, if half the folks that watched the show would voice it to CBS/Pmt. we would get our show back in some form!

Are Enterprise fans lazier than Farscape fans??????

I dont think so as I have had some good results in the short time I have been regrouping the fans, come join the effort! This Show Is Worth The Tiny Effort of 1 letter a month!

What about "lack of quality in terms of content?"

That wasn't possibly a factor too?

And yes in rerun on scifi it has beated there 1st run shows several times!

And this is enough to justify the revival you've been talking about.

Any thinking person can see that if syndicated in first run on a uniform time say everyware at 7pm, and promoted it would have the #s to sustain itself!

It's being messed up by Sci-Fi too huh? Just like UPN?

I tell you, this unfortunate scheduling treatment seems to curse ENT doesn't it?

So if an ENT fan doesn't join your crusade, this means they are lazy? Maybe they don't want it back? Perhaps the ones who want a revival are merely a fringe, small in number?

You've been shilling your campaign across four websites. Your forum has a total of 16 members. To pay for a fifth season of ENT, each of those members would have to donate about two million dollars each.

That's not encouraging.

I'm currently watching season 4 again, I can only imagine what Coto and his writers team would have accomplished if ENT had been given another season. Reading about the idea of addressing the building of the first starbase, further developments between Starfleet and its allies and the Romulan Empire, I wish we could have seen that. However I have accepted the reality that there won't be any new ENT episodes produced, probably ever. I savour the four seasons we got (of which two were excellent), and am focussing my attention to the new Star Trek film, because like DS9 and VOY, ENT is part of Trek history now.

A few different websites have written a virtual series starting with an "5th Season" of Enterprise and then working to a 7th. I know one site is still in the middle of Season 5. I haven't really read them yet, but the first one I mentioned didn't even really mention the Romulan War at all. I know thats the most important part I would like to see the most, besides other events that could lead to what we have seen in TOS.
